On Writing

According to Stephen King in his book, "On Writing":

- Art is not the life-support system to life, it's the other way
around. He says this in the context of having your writing desk in the
corner of a room rather than in the center.
- Creating a good story is like digging up a fossil - you try and
uncover something that already exists as complete as you can with your
set of tools.
- To be a good writer, you must read a lot and write a lot.

I suppose I should write out more key points as I re-read the book
("On Writing" is one of the few books I'm reading a 2nd time). More to
come I'm sure.
